Well! We had our benefit last Tuesday, and as far as we are concerned, it was a smashing success! Many friends came to show us their support and love! Even though we are all fairly poor by American standards(working class), we were still gifted $555.03! It's funny how the less money people have, the more they share, because they understand how it feels, and there is a greater awareness of how we depend on each other, at least in Portland, and other countries(from my understanding, which is about to be expanded!). Adam and Kris played a beautiful set, Mikey Coleman(MC) spun awesome music for hours, and Justin(Oxygen Elmo) played a song that he had written especially for us! The whole night was very sweet, and loving, and it was great to see how many people care and are excited for us! We're going heavy on the pictures this entry, so we will go short on the words...2&1/2 weeks to go! wowzers and eegad! more to come! cathy and michael, over and out!
P.S. did we say THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone that came? well, THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE THAT CAME TO OUR BENEFIT AND SHOWED US SO MUCH LOVE AND SUPPORT! WE ARE SO LUCKY TO KNOW AND CARE ABOUT SO MANY AWESOME AND SWEET PEOPLE!!!! OUR FRIENDS ROCK!!!! =] love you!
