Beautiful times in Ohio!

Well, as we sit here in Nebraska, it is blatantly obvious that a really good blog update is definitely in order. Whether or not this one will fit the ticket is still up for debate, but I'll give it my best! We arrived in the Cincinnati area (Mason, to be exact) on May 22nd, the day after Michael's birthday. His parents were only too happy to play the most perfect hosts, especially after having a four year hiatus between visits! So, I believe it is safe to say, they absolutely spoiled us rotten in a wonderful rendition of the return of the prodigal son. You wouldn't believe the fantastic meals his mom made (she comes from an Italian family; I literally gained seven pounds in a week & a half!). And they were gracious enough to take us sight-seeing all over the place. The (live) butterfly exhibit at the Krohn Conservatory, Connersville for trains and Metamora for the grist mill, Jungle Jim's World Market (like WOW!) to name a few places, plus sampling local food (La Rosa's, Skyline, Graeters, & more)! Cincinnati & the surrounding areas offers much to see, do & eat...chili on spaghetti noodles! Crazy, but delicious! And we had our first radio interview, with the Brian & Joe show! (they are completely awesome, hilarious and fun, & we could have talked for many more hours!) The interview is available on-line for those not within the radio's waves at: www.brianjoeshow.com, if any of you get curious. The show airs Tuesday, so that's when it will be available on the web! Anyways, I could ramble for hours about how much fun we had in Ohio, but...well, you know, gotta go! We'll write more later!
