Hello , I felt like it was time for an update. All is well with Minor Key and the sailing has
really been nice. The temperature has really been dropping but the sun is still showing its face.
The Wind has been on our side. There are quite a few Cascade 29s on this river , and we have ben seeing more every time we venture out. This past week we headed up to Bartlett Landing on Government Island...a common overnight cruising destination for the river, It was just Minor Key and Drummer , both Cascade 29s sailing right next to one another. We ghosted along with
our fellow boat , stealing the little bits of wind , slowly making progress. Overall a really peaceful
cruise. The moon was full and the sky clear and crisp . The wind cooperated very nicely for our
journey back , giving us nice puffs too get us home in a hurry , and then about an hour later it completly shut down , like switch was thrown on a giant fan . It seems that all I dream of doing
is sailing , I can't wait for the weekend to get out there again , and really cannot wait for this project and journey south to fully get cruising.
It is my passion and this seems like my lifes work. The environment and the water that surrounds us are the main forces that sustain us. And I feel honored to be able to incorporate
the passions in my life and share them with those around me,to be a positive influence on those around me and envoke change. I must send the biggest thank you out to my Aunt Barbara and
Uncle Barry for taking the time to get involved , they are the first . Thank You !!! I am in no hurry to rush this project , it is evolving and getting better with time . I do however want to make this happen before its gone. By this I mean the coastal ecosytem and communities I am trying to study and bring awareness to. But I want to take the time to do it right and safely.
Well thank you all who have read this and I hope that I can somehow bring something new out in you. And as always please leave comments or suggestions , they help . And enjoy the photos of the latest cruise!!
